Holiday Mood...~**

The holiday bugs are really biting me hard...I have yet to start on the great finds that I found in Hong Kong. So, it will probably take me another day or two to load new creations up. Apologies for keeping everyone waiting but please do drop by the site still :)

Flying back home...

I am now using the wonderful broadband computer at Macau airport and this means I am flying back home real soon.

Leaving on a Jet Plane...*whee*

I will be leaving for Hong Kong and Macau in a couple of hours. So before I go, I will post a few more posts. :)

There were requests from one of my blog visitors to steer away from pieces that are feminine to styles that are more androgenous and rugged. I must confess that I am specialises more towards feminine pieces but I have decided to challenge myself. So here is my latest creation: Psychedelic Punk Rock Chic.

**~ A Stroll in the Park - SGD 28 ~**

A Stroll in the Park is another casual but chic necklace that is suitable for a date and outings wih friends.

This necklace consists of handmade lentil beads with a swirl of colours such as yellow, pearl white, green and speckles of gold. The white beads display multitude of colours to tease the eyes when light falls on them. To top it off, Swarovski crystals and pearls are added to this piece.

Gladiator consists of Swarovski crystals and pearls. The interwining chains add more texture to this earrings and up the bling factor that makes it so suitable for a night out in a club.

**~ Heart of the Ocean -- SGD 26 ~** (Sold)

"Heart of the Ocean" is created due to the classic movie "Titanic". This movie was such a hit that I recall many of my friends watching this tears inflicting film several times. "Heart of the Ocean" is the name given to the beautiful necklace featured in "Titanic".

The beautiful Swarovski crystal featured here exhibits a variety of colours at different angles coupled with a beautiful rose clasp. The simplicity of his necklace captures both class and elegance.

**~ Peach Gallery -- SGD 52 ~**

"Peach Gallery" is one of my first fused glass babies. What is different about "Peach Gallery" to many other fused glass pieces is that it has a vibrant red base with muli-coloured dichroic glass. Thus, it will stand out beautifully.

"Peach Gallery" is a pendant measuring 3.5 cm X 2.5cm and it comes with a simple leather choker.

**~ A Treasure in Mummy's Chestbox -- SGD 38 ~**

I remember when I was younger, I would comb through my mother's chestbox secretly and try on some of the earrings and necklaces I manage to find inside. "A Treasure in Mummy's Chestbox" reminds me of a particular necklace in my mother's chestbox that I love.

The necklace features pink czech tulips, Swarovski crystals and pearls, bronze flower, silver butterfly, faux diamond chain and a pretty pink pearl drop.

I am really happy with the final product and it is so difficult for me to part with this piece partly because I love the vintage feeling that it emits.

Sneak Peek -- Handmade Fused Glass Pieces

After the 2nd re-firing, my baby fused glass pieces are ready for collection :)

While we were wrecking our brains whether a piece should be transform into a pendant, ring, bracelet and etc (because the possibility is endless!!), we have decided to be a little naughty.

I have yet to see the glass pieces after the 2nd re-firing and I am already filled with glass cuts on most of my fingers. Vicious! *haha*

But it was a wonderful experience.

My dearest apprentice is not spared from the glass cuts too while helping me to do some of the annealing.

It must be my weekend mood setting in. Radiate is a casual yet versatile piece for work and play.

Radiate features handmade lentil beads with a mixture of colours such as bright orange, yellow and a tinge of gold and white. The white flower lace is hand sewn with light blue beads and a dark orange Swarovski crystal. Swarovski pearls are added to give this piece more texture and sophistication.

Butterfly is simply a lovely representation to the process of metamorphosis. A brilliant beginning to this humble abode indeed. :)

It took me 4 years to take this baby step to create this blog and to display my hand-made jewellery creations for like-minded people in this vast and intense world we are living in.

Through the process of beading, wiring and conceptualising, I realised how creative everyone can be and to bring everything to a higher level, it would be fabulous to witness people wearing what I have created.
